The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it's alarmed with regard to the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area regularly. The services position established for intervention experiences a large influx of sassa potential beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more methods to help the servicing of all prospects and maximize access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
